Am I the ONLY one who thought the Boomerang type Controller looked
Cool, Futuristic Looking and just Plain Awesome? It Looked like a Buck
Rogers / Next Gen controller great for a next gen Console. Instead now
Sony switches it to a Controller that looks alot like what we have had
from the Beginning Of Playstation but in Silver and they took away
Rumble Feature in place of the Motion Sensor , which won't even be
used. How will you use it? In FPS Gaming? Boxing? How? Flying Games
can use the Analog Sticks Easier.
Dumb Move Sony ....Very Very Dumb.

Its odd that all the controllers they used on stage were silver. But
all the press pictures of the controllers are black.

And the difference between the 20GB version and the 60GB version from
the outside is that the front strip of the disc loader is chromed as
well as the lettering. The 20GB version is just all black.

Continue to play 'GAMES'!!!

I dont see why its such a huge problem if blu-ray doesnt win the movie
format war. I'd imagine it will still be the preferred 'storage'
format. Just imagine being able to finally back up your entire computer
onto one disc, without compression. Or your whole mp3 collection. (some
people i know are in the 11GB range)

UMD movies didnt catch on. And to think it didnt even have a competing
format. That didnt render the PSP dead. PSP is just getting started.

What you SHOULD be worried about are the sales of PS3. Sure it will
most likely sell out at launch, but think about next year when the
newness wears off and the early adopters already have theirs. Sony's
going to have to bite the bullet and drop the price, or risk falling
out of the game.

I don't either 'cause DVD picture quality is fine and good with me --
on a non-HD WEGA no less -- but if Blu-ray is not the preferred format
then it'll probably take Sony longer to turn a profit on the PS3.

This is true, but add to that the fact that Sony didnt create this
monster by themselves. Not only blu-ray but Cell as well was developed
between multiple companies. Sony isnt taking on ALL the expense from
this. Other companies have invested, but all you ever hear is SONY SONY
SONY.

Blu-ray movies format failing will not kill Sony. Playstation 3 failing
as a game system will.
