okay game, but not as good as the original Silent Hill. I was quite
disappointed with this one actually.

GT3

Overrated IMO, but a good racing game never the less. Too hard, too fullon
in the Gran Turismo mode - especially in some of the later races.

Warriors or Tactics?

Both are pretty good. Shame I'm in a PAL country though, otherwise I'd get
me a copy of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Man I had PC versions of ROTK2
and 5 - loved them. Shame they don't make them for the PC anymore (or do
they?)...

Good game - but not much replay value IMO. Sure, it's got multiple pathes
and such, but the majority of the story's pretty much the same, with only
small variations. not as fun the 2nd time around.

I prefered Unreal Tournament... but Quake 3 got better reviews when it
first came out I think.

Veronica Code X (or is it Code Veronica X)? I didn't like it - it wasn't
much fun IMO, and it certainly wasn't scary. The controls was a step
backwards from RE3 too. It got some good reviews though, so worth checking
out I guess if you're a big fan of the previous RE games.

Dark Alliance? Haven't played the 2nd, but the first was great. Crap story
though IMO, and more variety in gameplay would've been nice.

a pretty good game - I really enjoyed it. Again not much replay value
though. (oh and the unlockable freeroam mode was crap)

Anyways re: strategy games... Dynasty Tactics 2's pretty good. And Age of
Empires 2 was okay too, but hard to play with the controller.
Haven't played Ring of Red, but I heard that one's pretty good too.

That's a nice list of games, but you're crazy if you don't plunk down 20
bucks for Ace Combat: 4, Shattered Skies. I've had it for almost two years
and still pick it up and play at least once a month. Lots of replay value
there....

This doesn't make sense.. why would you ask about best strategy games
and then go and list off a bunch of games most of which aren't
strategy? The only strategy game above is maybe DOC, and maybe
Dynasty.. if you mean Dynasty Tactics and not Dynasty Warriors
(although that does have elements of strategy)

Getting back to actual subject there are many strategy games
available..
Romancing Three Kingdoms 7,8,9
Dynasty Tactics 1,2
Disgaea
PTO4
Kessen 1,2

There are tons of import strategy games but doesn't look like you'll
be interested in those

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 7 and 8, Ring of Red and Disgaea are the
best of those released in the US. I have no idea whether or not any of
them have been released in the UK, however.
